Since I recently posted about Sprawlopolis, I won’t go through much of the gameplay on this one; I’m just going to go over things that make this different. The base mechanics and rules are the same here, but one major difference is that rather than having only roads, there are rivers and roads, and each card contains one river, one road, or one of each. Also, when placing cards, rivers and roads may not be connected. In terms of scoring, rivers are only relevant through scoring conditions, but roads are still negative points. However, roads in Naturopolis are minus TWO points each instead of one!

Well, that’s literally all that’s different. I love Sprawlopolis, and this one changes it enough to make it different and more challenging while still being very easy and familiar. If you have Sprawlopolis, I wouldn’t say you need to get this one, but if you like Sprawlopolis, this is a nice addition that adds just enough variability to make it feel somewhat unique.

I haven’t played Agropolis which is why I haven’t compared it here!
